SGH

WHY CHOOSE THE
SGH HEALTHCARING GROUP?

SGH Healthcaring grew out of the merger of three plastics processing firms specialising in medical devices and drug administration for the pharmaceutical industry: Stiplastics, Rovipharm and Eskiss . Their reputation for know-how, developed over more than 30 years, means they can now offer a comprehensive range, from standard production to tailor-made development and medical subcontracting. In addition to manufacturing at several facilities certified to ISO 13485, including cleanrooms, it offers its customers expertise in quality, R&D, industrial production and marketing.

Our aim is to deliver the best possible devices, perfectly tailored to specific needs. From a simple packaging solution to the most complex electro-medical device, a dosing device for liquid or solid medicines (including dosing syringes, measuring spoons, IML measuring cups, pipettes for droppers and more), a one-by-one dispensing solution (to count and/or dose capsules, gel capsules, mini-tablets, etc.), a dedicated transport solution (e.g. for auto-injectors, vials and bandages), a care or drug administration solution (nasal aspirator, spacer device, pill dispenser, etc.) or any other plastic device (plunger stem, dental solution, obstetrical probe, etc.), we use exactly the same methodology.

OUR
COMMITMENTS

Innovative, functional
devices

SGH
Our design process is user-centric. We work tirelessly to improve our devices and create solutions that will respond precisely to users’ future needs. Our engineers, designers and ergonomics specialists work hand in hand to analyse needs and design and develop innovative, functional concepts to ensure they are both simple and practical to use.

Using smart innovation to bring projects to life has been part of our DNA for decades and is embedded in our corporate culture.

User-driven
devices

SGH
Identifying users’ needs is a key part of all our collaborative ventures, from the very beginning of the project right through to sales and marketing. Anticipating users’ requirements, identifying functionalities, inventing new products or improving what is currently available on the market are therefore critical criteria for deciding to embark on the design of any device
We provide market research and trend reports, run round tables and on-site tests and build relationships with health professionals to develop tomorrow’s best sellers in conjunction with our customers.

Personalised monitoring
of project quality

SGH
Quality is an essential part of our customers’ satisfaction and a day-to-day concern for all our staff, throughout the product life cycle. Our quality system is specially designed for the health sector. Our development and manufacturing processes incorporate regulatory obligations in response to pharmaceutical requirements:
• All our staff receive ongoing training in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
CE 0459 marking for MDs and FDA registration
• Certifications ISO 13485: 2016, ISO 15378: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 50001: 2011

Our recognised expertise in regulatory affairs also simplifies and supports our partners’ technical and regulatory formalities.

Expertise and industrial resources:
high-capacity, modern production facilities

SGH
We use our historical industrial know-how on modern sites, designed for lean manufacturing, providing high-speed production from small to very large production runs. Our industrial resources are second to none, with a fleet of 72 fully automated injection presses:
• 4 injection workshops for plastic components (including 2 in ISO 8 cleanrooms)
• 3 decoration and assembly workshops
• 1 ESD workshop for electronics assembly

Preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out on moulds and injection presses every day to maintain a high level of quality and performance from our fleet of machines.

STRATEGY

SGH
The aim of our bold development project is to build a European group, specialising mainly in the areas of drug administration, respiratory conditions, pre-analytics and the IoC [Internet of Care]®. To achieve this, we decided to create a holding company SGH Healthcaring, with Stiplastics and Rovipharm as both its foundation stones and spearheading its development.

SGH Healthcaring aims to generate turnover of €100 million, which will allow it to achieve the critical mass sought by our laboratory customers, and cover the structural costs associated with regulatory requirements. The increase in turnover will be driven by both Stiplastics and Rovipharm, but also by external growth. Our aim is to expand our ranges further to respond to our customers’ needs, as well as moving into new territories. Our teams are already involved in some very promising acquisition projects in France and Europe." Jérôme Empereur, CEO, SGH Healthcaring.
